Question Title Protected Categories for Authorized Users only

Practical Case: I like to allow only authorized users access my KB. Is it possible? Can I make user accounts for those who can access my KB?

Solution: Yes! You can create special Employee Accounts in PHPKB Admin section those can access the private knowledge base content under protected categories. PHPKB has built-in support for 2 types of knowledgebase categories: Public and Protected. Content like Articles or Questions under Protected Categories cannot be viewed by Public Users. Only special group of members called Employees are allowed to access the content under Protected Categories. PHPKB Administrator can create as many Employee Accounts as he wishes. Employees are allowed to login through a special login section in PHPKB so that they can view the knowledge base content under protected categories.
